shalom earthlings,
this is my very first post on my very first blog.
this is for all detail regarding thee intergalaktik beards doin's - releases and bistro titles, likes and recommendations, photos and stuff - for now, im not sure how long it will last... we have started the crossing... who knows? it may end badly (jim morrison)
the first release was in 2006(?) and was for the wondrous, the amazing, the noisy fordell research unit. now oop, it was a small run of 35 copies titled "noche oscura del alma" (dark night of the soul). featuring two tracks: "oceanic podiatry group" and "starfuckers last ride (a space opera)" - these are some of my favourite pieces from fru, beautiful orgasmic drone and dirge crawl, it was a real pleasure to put this together. i heavily recommend checking out other releases that are out there, there are several on many great labels such as matching head, first person, basses frequences, turgid animal, unverified, dead sea liner aswell as many many others, track them down and enjoy.
the follow-up second release came along three years after in october of 2009 and was again for fordell research unit, this tyme a split with another favourite of mine, culver! a split 10" limited to 100 copies and a cdr limited to 45 copies (or thereabouts) with art by mr pete burn (r.y.n./marzuraan) and myself with a series of photos entitled "excerpts of the west highlands" (from my then recent treck through the west highlands of scotland, very beautiful) the 10" features one track from each - "nairac" from fru and "before the devils came" by culver - both at just over ten minutes long. the cdr again featured two tracks, "the black peacock" from culver and (four tracks in one) "nude descending a pole", "this library has no fuck books", "la casa, l'assassino" and "saltwell" from fru. a varied selection of their sounds ranging from ambient, dirge drone and minimal noise - great stuff indeed and this one, the 10" that is, is still available from myself for just £7 - please feel free to get in touch for a copy, all trades most welcome.

a lyttle info on thee beard: tea drinking drone musik obsessive - thee intergalaktik beard has put together a few releases in support of and love for the artists involved and will plan to do more (keep an eye and ear peeled) when tyme and money allow. it is a non-profit-making-non-label. packaging will be minimal design but with heart in it. the beard has also begun a wee bistro of sorts supporting favourite artists, releases and labels (check the bistro post updates for these)
peace and well wishes
